You summon an invisible hand that pats your target on the head, shoulder or anywhere on their person (that is non-invasive) in a supportive and comforting manner. A voice will speak platitudes in a soothing voice, such as "You did well", "There, there", "Attaboy", or "Way to go champ". You may decide what they say and where they pat as long as it remains within the supportive spirit of the spell. Anyone on the receiving end of the spell immediately knows the general area of the caster, and if it was done earnestly or not.
Many apprentice wizards learn this spell and use it on themselves after a long night of studying and subsequent bombing of a test.
