Level: 1st
You conjure a thin magical bubble of breathable air around the target’s nose and mouth, allowing them to survive without external air for the spell’s duration. This can protect them in a vacuum, underwater, or in other airless environments.
While affected, the creature does not need to breathe and is immune to suffocation. If the creature was already holding its breath, this spell suspends the breath timer. When the spell ends, they begin holding their breath as if for the first time (resetting the usual breath-holding duration based on Constitution).
If the creature was already suffocating or unconscious due to lack of air, this spell prevents their condition from worsening, but does not restore lost hit points or consciousness.
At Higher Levels: When cast using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you may target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st.
