Upper Station

Perched atop the asteroid’s shell like a gilded crown, the Upper Station is a gleaming arcane-spliced complex of domes, decks, and docks. It's a stark contrast to the rust and rattle of the lower levels.

Here, the air is always suspiciously clean, the wards hum just beneath notice, and even the shadows feel curated. Most arrivals are vetted well in advance: dignitaries, trade envoys, and ships too rich or too dangerous to mingle below.

Here, the station's main dome glistens with arcane glass and rune-metal struts, offering a panoramic view of the stars and the sleek silhouettes of diplomatic vessels berthed in the restricted upper docks. Movement is orderly, muted. The echoes here are polite.

Off-limits and closely guarded, this is where private negotiations and political games unfold far from public eyes. The party’s guide simply said, “Don’t go there,” and meant it.

A quieter zone filled with guild offices, arcane notaries, and long-term station services. Somewhere between a trade hall and a bureaucrat’s warren.

• Mandate Liaison Office: Hidden deep in this wing is a modest office leased by the Radiant Mandate, barely more than a chapel-front with a mission desk. Staffed by a single earnest acolyte most days, it doubles as a quiet recruitment post. The official cleric, Father Falrin, is rarely present. Supposedly, he “only shows up on alternate Tharsdays”, though that didn’t stop him from appearing unscheduled during the crew's last visit.
