Once an elven keep known for starlore and quiet study, Caer Myndraelin now lies in ruin. It crowns a rise above the Myrden River; its towers have collapsed, and the high library is overgrown with ivy.
Six centuries ago, a quake split the keep apart, but the namesake village of Caramendra remains on the riverbank below. Many locals claim descent from the keep's last stewards, carrying fragments of ancient starlore into the present. On quiet mornings, some say the old stones still sing.
