Adept Powers

Archetype Stunt

Adept's Physique

As an Adept, I can channel mana to bolster my body. My unarmed attacks are as lethal as weapons. Additionally, I can Drain to perform a fantastic feat of strength or agility. This can include things like lifting a car, jumping up to a 2nd story window, or running as fast as a motorcycle for a few seconds.

I can take additional Adept Powers at the cost of one Asset point each.

Adept Powers

Most Adept Power stunts involve using the character's magic to improve their physical capabilities. Every Adept Power costs one Asset point.

Here are some examples:

Astral Affinity

Because my body is attuned to the mana arround me, I can mark and clear my Astral Condition to perceive the astral plane like a mage. Even when this power isn't in use, I get a tingling sensation whenever there's an astral being near me.

Enhanced Metabolism

Because my innate magic makes my body operate extremely efficiently, I only require three meals per week instead of three per day, can hold my breath for about an hour, and barely grow tired from extended exercise.

Light Body

Because gravity itself bends briefly to my command. I can run about ten meters straight up a vertical wall or across the surface of water, land safely from any fall, and leap twice as far as the average person.

Mystic Armor

Because my magic protects you against incoming attacks, I get a Mystic Armour (Current) condition with two boxes.

Perfect Senses

Because my senses are honed to a superhuman degree, I can distinguish the subtlest of hues in a painting, recognize the slightest tuning in an orchestra or tremble of a voice, and estimate the weight of an object to the gram. My brain and soul are wired to support these abilities, so they don't hinder me in any way.

Soul Strike

Because I can briefly shift your limbs into the astral, I can strike directly at your enemy's soul. When attacking a living being, I can choose to make my attack ignore nonmagical armour, and it can even hit Astral targets like non-manifested spirits or magic wards.

Spell Resistance

Because my body and soul resist hostile magics of all kinds, I get +2 to rolls to Endure any spell. This doesn't apply to defenses against attacks from spirits or other magical critters.
