The Sixth World is home to many people, not all of whom are human. Choose your Metatype from the list below.

You can treat your Metatype as an Aspect, either describing your character or describing how others perceive them. You can use your Elf aspect when trying to be nimble, and others can use it against you if you're coming off as aloof.

The standard metatypes are:

  • Human - The assumed default of the Sixth World. Humans are well-rounded and tend to blend in with the crowd.
  • Elf -  Taller than humans, slender, and with pointy ears. Elves are nimble and charming, and live long lives.
  • Dwarf - Short, stocky, and sturdy. Dwarves are loyal and diligent workers, but sometimes struggle due to their height.
  • Ork - Large-bodied and with tusks, orks are strong and tough, and everyone always thinks they're looking for a fight.
  • Troll - So monstrous they make orks look like human children, trolls have massive builds, horns, and skin that can block bullets.Note that the above five are only the most common metatypes, and there are many other types of people in the Sixth World. If you want to play something rarer, discuss it with the GM.
