Moves

Start with Costume Change, and choose one more:

Costume Change

Choose one of the following categories: people, animals, off-brand musical theatre characters, stage props. You can transform into things of that category while in the inner world.

When you transform, roll +Charm. On a hit, hold 2. Spend a hold to get +1 on a roll to do something typical to your new form.

On a 7-9, at some point during or after your transformation, the GM will tell you something that the form's instincts drive you to want to do. Either do it, or take 1 harm.

Put on a Show

When you put on a flashy performance, roll +Charm. On a 7-9, choose one. On a 10+, choose one or both:

  • All eyes in the room turn to you. You have everyone's attention until you stop talking or performing.
  • Call on one NPC in the room to join your act. If they do, ask one question from the Gain an Impression move. If they don't, gain a string on them or inflict 1 harm.

Social Circle: Cast and Crew

Your friends are other theatre nerds like you, or other artsy or drama-seeking teens. Archetypes can include: child star, lead singer, musical prodigy, props master, obsessive fanboy, and obsessive fangirl.

Once per episode, when you need some physical object, you can claim that you know a guy or gal (or know someone who knows someone). Explain why the heck they have it, then roll +Charm.

On a hit, they are willing to give it to you. On a 7-9, they ask for something in return.

Recovery

Decompression -The show must go on! You can decompress through practicing your lines, watching a theatre show, or putting on a show.

Advancement

Whenever you get to 5 experience, clear your experience and choose one. When you mark your 2nd and 4th advancements, increase one stat by +1.
