Born a noble of House Elias, her mother was a magician-noble that was equal parts ruthless and cunning. She ruled her small village with an iron fist, terrifying her people into submission and intimidating neighbors into being complicit. Alexandra knew this well, and as she grew older, realized her place in this line. Her mother was grooming her to become a ruthless leader like her. This bothered Alexandra- her heart ached for the poor townspeople tortured by her line. It bothered her more the inelegance of her mother's methods, and the unrest that it caused.

Not wanting to fall victim to her rhetoric, and knowing without a successor, her family's influence would die in the Old World, she left for the New World serrupticiously. Her goals are to build a garrison of her own, to install law, justice and trade in a wild place. That, she thinks, would be the truest victory.
