Loggers Falling in Stinging Nettles knows one thing for sure:
Plants make life possible.
So they should have a say in matters. It is simple.
She learned it from the Druid who created her to protect a forest from incursions of Loggers and Huntsmen who exploited nature for the nearby city. The druid was quite clear with his teachings. Don't accept everything that non-plants want to do with you or your kin. And she got very good at it.
One day, the druid said that she went to far. It was inexplicable to Nettles. She just protected the forest, it was a lasting protection.
The druid wanted to forbid her to protect the forest like that again. Nettles didn't accept what this non-plant tried to order her. She protected the forest from them, too. Permanently.
Now, with more experience in life, Nettles know that her goals can only be reached by long and constant efforts. No sudden action can topple this unfair society, careful and well planned actions are way better for getting what you want. Even non-plants are useful sometimes, they make good tools for her ends.
But one thing will remain true:
Plants give life. They should have a say over all of it. They are simply entitled to it.
