This time the mission took us north, to the Watchers' Tribe Village. Contact with the community was easier than I anticipated. Our Wizard, Lazz'Ru, seemed to have had previous conversations with the leader and our presence was accepted. We met with Father Lightning, the Elder of this town, and brought the somber news: a group of their scouts were found dead near the Spire Hills, defeated by a vicious Fey. Our final goal, though, was to bring the news to a well-known archeologist Unknown, Tarn. And Father Lightning pointed us in the direction of an ancient ruin, where Tarn went on an expedition.
Our journey was rather uneventful. Only the encounter with a lonely giant amoeba is worth the remark. Curious creature, yes. At arrival we found a series of underground tunnels that contained old corpses and piles of bones. And an unconscious Kobold. We healed up and teamed up with Tarn. Evil spirits and Unknown creatures lurked around the corners but, after a bloody battle, we managed to banish The Magister. A necromancer, who trapped souls and bound them to this Mortal Plane. Their dark magics are no more. One less shadow trying to overcome the light.
