Short summary:

The party dealt with the BigBoye and his girlfriend. Poor Mr. White was left without parents.

A mysterious puddle of oil was in the burrow. Something reached out and drained some of Artur Firefist's magic. It then rewarded them with a magic wand. Artur proceeded to promptly set the oil on fire and evacuate asap. Rude.

Feeling somewhat remorseful, Syltorin Margaster decided to take the smaller mole back to town on foot in the hope that it might one day forgive him for murdering its parents. Gharok followed to help. Early in the morning, an assassin tried to murder Syltorin. He was carrying a letter from his old betrothed, whom was supposedly incinerated by Syltorin himself. Funky.

Slaying the Enormous Moles

During the previous expeditions into the mole burrows to the north, a specimen of truly gigantic proportions was spotted multiple times. A group of the Adventurers of the Guild decided to put an end to this threat - Uzuto Sukemoru, Ariana Yaxiri, Gharok the Cleaver, Artur Firefist, and yours truly, lord Syltorin of the House Margaster

The journey north was uneventful, as was the spelunking through the burrows. Tracking down the enormous beast was easy enough - we found it sleeping in one of the earthen chambers. We attacked it swiftly, unleashing a barrage of spells, punches and cuts. As expected, it was quite susceptible to fire and strikes that pierce its hide. Soon enough, another, slightly smaller mole joined the fray - a mate of our target. It was dealt with quickly.

In this cavern, we also discovered a previously spotted albino mole which was once befriended by the Unknown Druid by the name of Sprout. From its reaction to the death of the pair, it was easy to conclude that they were its parents. Ariana and Uzuto, after a rather touching conversation, elected to recall back to First Landing; Artur, upon discovering a pool of the notorious black oil associated with these moles, received a Wand of Hopeless Night from a mysterious hand that emerged from the pool, and in a sudden display of pyromania, set the oil on fire, and also recalled. With a dazing spell, I subdued the albino mole in order to rescue it from the smoke-filled caves, and dragged it outside with the help of Gharok. We camped, and during my watch, we were attacked by a scarred, sneering assassin. Slaying him was easy enough, and we returned to First Landing on foot.
