- Rydess and her mother are the guardians of the Major Seal of the Verdant Mother, called the Grand Vivarium, deep below the Lair.
- Rydess was supposed to have a guard partner, Lagamal, but he was stillborn, and never hatched from his egg.
Rydess is a Young Blue Desconocido, the Queen of the Desert, and the goddess of the Watchers' Tribe Village. She nests in her Lair, in the western portion of the Watchers' Island, opposing an entity known as "the Mother".
She really likes butler, and enjoys blasting the sands of her desert into glass.
