Short summary:
The group found another portal using a similar sphere to the last group, and went to yet another temple, this one apparently in the middle of a refugee camp. The group dispatched some living statue doorway, and then had to help fend off more while saving refugees. The temple is apparently the center of what is now known as Roanokae, which was set up for survivors from an invasion of Orcs called the Horde, near the war boarder at Zambaza river.
The group also learned, after dispatching more statues, that their supplies were magically dispersed (indirectly caused by Konag who got a card from the Unknown Kanz! in First Landing). The group helped repel a small scouting force that was a deadly endeavor.
All members agreed to discuss and attempt for future assistance and a more amiable situation with the inhabitants on that side of the portal in the future.
Full report: Gharok
The group of Gharok, Cornix, Konag and Killian set out towards the Elemental Portal Shrine following a lead on the orb after another group followed a similar lead. We ran into a curious group of giant ants on the path to the Shrine which posed little threat but were strange overall.
Upon entering the Shrine and following some hints from the Elementals there, we were whisked away to some strange location in that turned out to be a temple, after a battle with a large Unknown guarding a doorway, we found ourselves in what seemed to be a medical center filled with more living statues. The fight was filled with peril, but luckily we ran into two members of the now known refugee camp. Raket, the Unknown, with divine power and a Champion of some kind, and the lady Unknown Ajan.
After getting into good graces from saving their members we learned that the magic of the cards from Kanz! had disappeared their supply tent leaving them in dire straights, unfortunately the light on our end was also on theirs and an orcish raid from a group known as The Horde had scouts come, the repel was hard but managed.
Everyone in the group now seeks to assist the Roanokae Camp, with members (refugees) ranging for 150-200 individuals either escaping the horde's advancement or wounded soldiers from the frontline at the Zambaza river. The horde is a wide spread threat across the land as far as they know.
