Also known as the Guardian, Khafre is an ancient Sphinx tasked with guarding the tomb of a group of Oracles that claimed to have foreseen the future, and were punished for it. Proud and at times boastful, but level-headed and respectful, he enjoys riddles and puzzles just like the rest of his kind does. He hasn't left the tomb ever since he was placed there, and thus he doesn't know much about the current outside world; however, he did have to fend off the attacks of jealous Hieracosphinxes a couple of times, and he's aware that the surrounding area has been a desert for quite some time.
While Khafre can innately communicate in any language that he hears, his mother tongue is Saqqaran. He is currently its only known living speaker, but he is willing to teach it to those who are interested - for example, Daggoth learned it recently.
