One of the interior walls of the pagoda-temple in the middle of the Unseen Village, which seems sturdier and more permament than the rest. Here, in the light of candles, long and flowy script decorates every panel - Sconosciuto names written in ancient Sylvan. These names comprise a monolithic whole, but the presumably most recent parts feature wide gaps, indicating the missing names that were stolen by the sea Sea Hags. After two of them were slain, these gaps are smaller and fewer, but still present, since 'Yuuko' managed to escape.
T'is our Wall of Names, where every villager of every generation is commemorated, and with them, the history of the Spirits' protection. As thou can see, the written word itself hath been erased, and we do not know how. One moment, the names art here, anoth'r, and they art forgotten. - Sendō the Matriarch |
