While Murphy rests, something demands her immediate attention. One of the baubles formerly carried by the Unknown calls to her, yearns to be noticed.
If she answers the mental call, she finds that the broken seashell that Veshta the Hag used to contact Azar still holds some power within - a vestige of it, feeble and unfulfilled currently, but nothing that dedication couldn't nurture into something far greater.
This is a Relic seed that she holds. Maybe, it is not meant for her - maybe it is not meant for anyone at all - but she has it now.
The shell is cracked; when she pries it open, Murphy reveals the interior lined with luminescent, fine nacre the colour of sunset. It looks somewhat similar to the folds and crevices of an ear. One tip of the shell is covered by crystals that hold the spark of fire within them. Most of them are too delicate, and crumble into embers and dust in her palm - not something she should discard, however, since even this powder hums with magic. The other tip holds a vibrant pearl, blue like the seas, bound in place by a clasp like an earring.

The Broken Wish is a Relic of Fire and Water claimed from the body of Veshta by Murphy. She awakened it, and received the Minor Gift of Flare Bolt. The Hag's mastery of the magic of the sea depths, and the Genie's command over flame both imprinted on the Relic, granting it its contrasting aspects.
