Full Report:

When we signed we signed up for this mission I thought it was just going to be checking regular Toys for structural errors or the like in preparation of the Festival . So imagine my surprise when the first thing we see stepping into the toy shop as an Ice Golem that was incredibly cross with us. While it was dispatched in roughly 40 seconds, it is was nonetheless a concerning encounter that was not in the job description.

As it turned out, the Golem was in the process of being disarmed, someone had stolen the Golem's control stylus that would be required to actually remove most of it's deadly armature. Apparently it had been stolen by a visitor to the area that had come through earlier in the day, and we were tasked with it's Retrieval. After Skarn Bloodbitten's quick work collecting jellyfish slime and a brief digression from the primary objective, we had in fact found the culprit. However, they pulled a smoke bomb on us and started a long chase through the city, and it took some free running to actually catch them. Once the stylus was retrieved we ensured that it was returned to it's proper place.

Thereupon we were invited to simply have a short meal to both recover our strength and to test yet another magic device in testing. Said device had the side effect of summoning a Covetous, but easily persuaded werebear. As well as some fireworks with magical bunny-shaped-charges that explode into particular shapes in the sky.

And lastly, we were charged with testing experimental Figurines of Wondrous Power, that were intended to act like Sentinels, alerting the user to danger and helping them to hide from it. A Trickster Jackalope interrupted the testing by dropping people down a multi-story building by breaking the floor, but it highlighted an important flaw in the Figurine: that it was a bit too trusting of Jackalopes. However, due to the group's ability to quickly scale walls, the Jackalope too was apprehended. The group handed over the Jackalope to a rather nervous guard, returned the statues, and delivered our final report.
