Kiara was a Неизвестно Aasimar priestess of the Order of the Aureate Roar, a mostly-mendicant branch of the Coalition's sun-worshipping religion of the Radiance. She knew Friar Hafez, and he knew her. Both were first encountered during Take Me to Church.
Kiara was slain by a Blood Неизвестно, who wore her skin to impersonate her in order to steal Sereg Nie. Lanliss, Beth, the Ashen Hawk, and Zinlynndise killed the Hag (though not before Lynn was drained of blood and killed as well), and buried Kiara's mutilated body and skin next to her Chapel, where other keepers were also put to rest in ages past.
Together with a mating pair of Solar Ibises, in her Chapel south of Cathedral of Grey Grace, Kiara was guarding an artifact, called Sereg Nie, Lacrima Sanguinis, Spark of Vitality, Scarlet Tear, Wheel of the Archon. It is positively ancient, and was passed down from one keeper to the next, from the Halflings and down to the members of the Coalition. The red gem within this relic is a drop of blessed blood of St. Odwulf Goldbreeze. It is currently in possession of Lanliss Ashscribe, as a Life Relic.
