A Boggard that was stealing produce from Heidrun's gardens, claiming that he was doing so for his wife. She let him go after catching him time and time again, but when she discovered that this was a lie, since he has no partner, and when he stole something too precious, she cursed him, turning him into her special cauldron.

When he is more active, the cauldron grows mossy, and the stern, elongated face on its surface becomes more toad-like, with a large, downturned mouth, and big, bulging eyes.

Heidrun alternates between "Croakpot", "Froglegs", "Tadpole" and "Toadstool" as his nicknames, but never adresses him by his real name. He was first encountered during Taste the Rainbow, during the Midday Meal Mayhem of Meridian, in his cauldron form, when Heidrun's kitchen was affected by a strange voice from the sewers, and turned against the visiting party. He manifested a flurry of ghostly, clawed and webbed hands, which attacked and frightened everyone in the room.

GM Notes

Meridian

Croakpot's real name is Polywogg. He lost it when Heidrun cursed him, claiming it and refusing to ever use it again. Instead, she uses various frog- and toad-related nicknames to ridicule him.
