Short Summary: Four members of the Explorer's Guild are hired by one Dong Feng to hunt down a brigand and troublemaker by the name of Ten Frogs Toadstool. After pursuing the man to the Millennium Forest, the party manages to successfully take him down before recalling back to town.
Full Summary: Four members of the Explorer's Guild, including several brand-new recruits, meet up with Dong Feng in a dingy bar to hear a job offer. Dong Feng had been tasked by the Grand Judge of an upcoming tournament to ensure that the proceedings go smoothly, and to that end wanted to eliminate a troublemaker operating out of the Millennium Forest. The target is Ten Frogs Toadstool, so named for a combination of ampibian-themed techniques and the fact that he is accompanied by a medley of giant frogs. Ten Frogs Toadstool is described as a brigand wanted for disturbing the peace, murder, and other crimes. Dong Feng specifies that it would be better to see the man dead rather than take him in alive, as Ten Frogs Toadstool had already defied and escaped his assigned penance work for past crimes.
The group accepts the job and set out into the Millennium Forest, their search bringing them to a swampy area. There, they find several giant frogs vomiting acid onto nearby trees. Suspecting that these frogs belong to the brigand, the group chooses to ambush and slay the creatures.
They prevail, and set up the bodies of the frogs in the center of a clearing in order to ambush Ten Frogs Toadstool when he returns to check up on his minions. The man does indeed show up and, after a fraught battle, the hired hunters manage to take him down. After tending to their wounds and confirming that everyone had survived the encounter, they recalled to town to claim the bounty.
