Upon reaching Caislean Ridire, Imperio's Gimmerling tendencies proved quite problematic, and earned him not insignificant amount of infamy. Despite that, Sands saw the potential, and eventually Imperio managed to realise where he should be putting his efforts. Finding sympathy and respite with the distanced and accomplished crafter Luna, he begun dealing from the shadow. His infamy made him an uncomfortable sight, and he uses that fact to his advantage as he hides when others avert their gaze to avoid his cruelty.
In the Oder he steps in when peaceful and direct methods fail, working as the spy and in the rare cases as an interrogator. This last part is kept a secret from Sands, though White Knight might be able to recognize the need to sometimes get one's hands dirty. It is not impossible that he knows of this.
As such, Imperio works best alone. Though his cooperation with other Moths is not unheard of, or even uncommon, it is when he walks the line between the light and shadow, the line between good and evil, is when he truly shines in his position. Years under Sands' guidance made him aware enough of the light that he despises his own tendencies, but accepts them when necessary.
- Luna she likes to spend time with, when she feels like it, as her contraptions can fuel Imperio's imagination which he relies on to get some things out of his system.
- Rosy he is jealous of, as her appearance and nature make her so likeable. He finds himself wondering how he would hurt Rosy, but it is nothing more than idle thoughts he would never let loose.
- Ermine he considers to be a mentor who teaches him more about life than about fighting. He holds appreciation for his efforts in teaching him the value of life almost just as much as he does for Sands
