A guard for a temple of the Empyreal Lords, and suitably worshipping Arqueros as the guardian of Heaven, Lysandros long swore to the comfortable life. He sought out no strife to end but satisfied himself with the necessary role of defending the temple so worship may continue unabated.
Of course, complacency set in and under the depths of night but a few months ago the Golden Icon of Ragathiel was stolen from the temple, along with a number of other goods. The thieves slipped past the sleeping Lysandros and the priests came down on him hard, stripping him of his role. Swearing to regain the honour of the Empyreal Lords, and never betray the ideals of Arqueros again, he set off following the only two hints as to the thieves the man is aware of; a snagged section of indigo cloth and that they headed through the portal to the New World.
It's little to go on, and the man is no adventurer, but surely someone will know something?
