Short summary:

It was a faithful evening, we were teaching children about the importance of fire safety and showing off the various ways to prevent a fire. Eventually, though, someone brought up a good idea! Why not visit the Elemental Shrine? We race to the shrine and Nimdra'th Kae Nimdra'th Kae the Super Selementai won the race against all the other Selementai. There we learned of a problem with the portals - the wood and metal planes had begun to grow uncontrolled. We stabilized them by opening two new portals and recruiting two new guardians. Afterwards we met the creator of the Elemental Shrine, a giant Magma Dragon, who warned us of a god breaking out of the moon!

Full Report

Future knowledge seekers, I commend you for reading this report! In it, I, Kae Bulsae, Emissary of the Plane of Fire in THE SUPER SELEMENTAI, shall tell how we found new guardians for the Elemental Portal Shrine! Our adventure begins humbly, with all members of THE SUPER SELEMENTAI working together to teach the children of First Landing proper fire safety, as well as how to handle different types of metals in a safe manner. As we were considering having Sablette dig us a hot spring, Harbor, suggested that we visit the Elemental Portal Shrine to further our connections with our elements. With the awesome power of my kinetic gate, I arrived first second first second at the same time as everyone else, just in time for a guard to tell us that the Guardians of the Shrine were having issues with their astrolabe. We found them in the midst of attempting to remove the seedlings of the Elemental Planes of Metal and Wood from the astrolabe, but with Lagos and Lakade's demonstrations of their elemental gates, we were able to convince them that summoning new guardians would be worth a try, so long as we could convince the original Creator of the Shrine to do so.

Our spirits enflamed, we started with the Plane of Metal, Lagos' first attempt opening an unstable portal that popped out a metal man with a single red eye. At first, he seemed like he could be a worthy Guardian, but he quickly proved himself to be nothing more than a tyrant. Attacking swiftly, we were barely able to force him to retreat before performing the ritual again with Lakade's Wood! The resulting portal also led us to a fight, this time to defend an innocent tree against a horde of poison-spewing goat men. After saving the righteous tree, we were able to convince them of the worthiness of the cause, leading them back to the Shrine so that they could become engrained with their new fellow guardians!

With only the Metal Guardian left to achieve, Lagos performed the ritual once more, this time stabilizing the portal with great success. To our immediate dismay, however, was the metal man from before, still injured but flanked by several guards and a humming metal orb. He offered up the metal orb as a potential guardian, and after careful deliberation and an intensive interview process, we decided to accept. The Zuhra then bid us farewell as the portal closed, wishing us luck in our future endeavors. Shortly after this happened, we were all transported to a completely different location, a courtyard of a huge temple where in the distance we saw the ocean and an island with an active volcano surrounded by a massive forest. Truly a grand example of the elements existing in harmony as they should! More important however, was the gargantuan dragon seemingly made of magma that we met in the courtyard, who claimed to have designed the shrine. He told us that there was an ancient goddess who would soon break out of her seal in the moon, causing a great catastrophe that hasn't been seen in over a thousand years. Such a task is beyond what we are used to, even after many battles but if we are to keep this world and the natural order safe, we must succeed! After learning this information, we left as quickly as we came, returning to the Shrine. After steeling our wills, we returned to First Landing to make preparations for the coming disaster.
