Melina hails from a farming village in the outskirts of one of the Old World's biggest cities. She is a slight, thin, black-haired young woman. Her right eye is the characteristic blue-purple shade that inhabitants of the region tend to have, while the left is bright green.
Though she is an orphan, the village took in young Melina after her father's mysterious passing and raised her not at all differently from the other kids, despite her somewhat unique appearance.
