The homely Elvira needed desperate, desperate help. Her Cookies had to be delivered hot and fresh - but any adventurer worth their salt was busy killing monsters or selling their soul to alchemists. So it fell on to the Humble Skull and their 3 trusted compatriots - The deadly Raziyah , The menacing Thanja Rhuuk and the wise Yimtakk Drivvnel Gartunk.
We rushed out to meet Ajan of the Roanokae Camp , and graciously handed them the free cookies from Elvira.But Ajan decided to not honor their deal of the bargain - and instead of providing a proper payment gave us the worst cookies in the batch - burnt to a crisp Cockroach flavored cookies. [I understand that these cookies are favored by some ancestries. Perhaps Kobolds. This is no insult to Elvira's cooking - but merely showing how much Ajan insulted us!!]
It is a shame - the poor refugees torn by war strung at my heart - much like my own experiences. It made me feel sympathy at first. But it is clear that we are not alike - I am far kinder and not a pathetic cultist.Desperate to not waste our time, we searched around. We were brave adventurers , in a strange land - may as well search for treasure!
Unfortunately, at first, we found trash. And by trash I mean a Kobold Gambling Den. It smelled awful and the only food available was cockroach cookies. The Kobolds were bad at gambling and more importantly protecting their pockets so we stole everything from them.
They were quite mad about it - understandably so, I imagine it's frustrating to be that stupid, and sent an assassin with two owlbears after us. Didn't do them any good - they cowered in the face of overwhelming power.
Finally we stumbled upon a building full of rich losers at Old Hezarath. They were even more cult like than the refugees! So we made a daring heist plan - I won't bore you here with the details but be assured I did the majority of the work despite Thanja , Yim, Raziyah and Regina being of great assistance. The plan went without a hitch - no complications whatsoever - and we stole everything from them.
