Standing tall with a mane of auburn hair possessing a single grey streak, Amias seems almost like a normal human, but in reality his heritage is far more sinister. His mother may have been fully human, but his father belongs to the subspecies of vampire known as vetalaranas, which resulted in Amias being born an adhyabhau dhampir. It's due to his lineage that he possesses ample psychic powers, but the positives end there.
Thankfully his father never had an interest in him, which made it easy for Amias to abandon his home as soon as he was able and take to the streets. He survived by learning to charm, lie, threaten, and steal what he needed, primarily from people he thought deserved to be knocked down a peg or two. This continued until a botched job brought his father's attention upon him. Suddenly the circles Amias ran in starting avoiding him, and agents of his father were sent to drag him back home after years away. So Amias ran, and he continued running until he learned of the New World. He's come to First Landing, happy to be out of the reach of his father and his minions, but also eager to explore the many new opportunities that await him in this new land.
