**Lodster and Tapeworm**
Lodster was a servant in the Old World to an organization once known as "Melting Hand" a home of underground alchemists that run questionable experiments. He wasn't in any way a good servant much like the rest of the other goblin servants. In exchange for a home with food, the goblins must serve the members of Melting Hand to all their rules.
On one particular day, he was in trouble with the group. Lodster was ratted out for stealing more food from the pantry for himself. His punishment? lab-rat duty. He would have to endure the alchemists' experiments and if he'd survive any, he'd pay off his punishment.
His first and only experiment begun, ingesting a silver vial. The alchemist watching over the experiment thought it was a fitting punishment for the goblin. *If he thinks its alright to start devouring whatever, then let him devour these instead.* Those were the words he overheard from the members before he drank the vial.
For the first early moments, nothing changed outwardly, save for the growing rumbling stomach that never settled. Then, emerging from inside him, Tapeworm was made. A metal slime creature that formed from his stomach, and it sought to escape the experiment. Lodster could feel the pull of freedom, the very literal gut feeling was what made him escape.
Lodster spewed Tapeworm and they worked together, injuring any who stood in their way, leaving Melting Hand and the Old World Behind. Now they wander as a free goblin, a hunger of new experiences resides in him. Fleeing far from his old life. He took up, under the feelings of Tapeworm, to sign up for the Explorer's Guild. Following where his gut will take him next is anyone's guess.
