- The Ebissian Sea used to be smaller, and contained more isles and islands, many of them rather large. When the Achaean civilisation – which called these waters their home – fell catastrophically, the land was broken and the sea rushed in, sinking many of those islands and eroding the coastline. The Broken Beach and the Shattered Shore are two of the remnants of this apocalypse.
The Broken Beach is the name used by the local Fey for the entire eastern shore of the Watchers' Island, where the Millennium Forest gives way to the Ebissian Sea and the southern portions of the Sea of Stone. This coast is jagged and "broken", and accompanied by a myriad of isles and boulders too small to be added to a map. Its counterpart is the Shattered Shore, and they share a lot of similarities.
The main attraction of this coastline is the part where it bends into a peninsula – which contains Cynosure – and continues east to form the Garland.
