**Ornek Blacksteel**- Orc Barbarian
The Blacksteel clan was one of well-known smiths and metalworkers, those who can forge their own steel were believed to be able to use it more effectively. Steel was no use, however, when an Adamantine dragon was tricked and manipulated into targeting the clan, slaying many before the clan was forced to retreat.
Nomads without coin nor supply, a new leader rose among the clan, vowing to bring them to their former homes. When the nearby towns and villages refused to provide aid, however, the clan's leader strode forth and declared he would take it by force. The desperation of the Blacksteel clan forced them to raid and pillage, claiming resources by force rather than diplomacy, and did so for years to come. Even after re-establishing themselves, they had made enemies with their new ways, and learned the craft of sailing to travel more quickly.
As the practice continued, a younger orc newer to the raiding began to realize the pain he'd brought upon others with his blade. Attempting to rise the ranks and turn the clan from their harmful ways, he was cast out, not strong nor influential enough to hold any sway in the clan's structure.
Ornek set out from home to become stronger, and to help others to get a new perspective upon the world, so that he may one day return to his clan and show them that it's still possible to be good after wronging others- to show that it is possible for one like himself to be redeemed despite his past.
