We left FLOAT's headquarters in an effort to find a boat for the organization. We ventured east to the First Landing Port in search of work.
Bubbles and Eli found a nice produce stand with a good deal on fresh produce. A mean centaur was roughing the lady up for money. Something about "protection".
A sprite in a pinstripe suit hired the adventurers the opportunity to help protect his ship. The party saw crates of a purple marmalade being loaded onto the ship. Eli belives the purple substance is a smurf love potion, made of smurf....extract.
The boat ventured out and things were relatively quiet except when Grounded fell off the ship. Fortunately, one of the crew managed to catch him with a rope before he fell in the water - the poor bird can neither fly nor swim.
We sailed south and on our way inward from the ocean, we encountered aquatic creatures who made the mistake of attacking the ship. We quickly dispatched them.
On reaching our destination, the cargo was unloaded and we met a sprite who appears to be the leader of the operation. There was a vast complex where marmalade is produced using what appears to be various fruits as the sources. No smurfs in site! Some of the workers were wearing special clothing that covered their entire bodies, including their heads, as they worked in one area.
The boss asked the party to go to a remote supply area and try to determine what was interrupting their work. On entering the area, the party discovers a giant mushroom as well as a treant and two stags that are acting strangely. After dispatching the apparent invaders, the party searches and discovers that it appears the stags and treant are the source of the problems. A vial of red marmalade was also found, which provided to be *delicious*.
While the marmalade was indeed delicious.....it was rather hard on the system, resulting in some physical distress. While suffering the effects, Bubbles and the rest of the party served as guards once again for the captain and his ship on a return trip. On returning to First Landing, Bubbles and Kaelen were healed and admonished for waiting so long to receive care.
