Aye aye, they told me to write a report about what we did so here I am, folks. Get ready for it, nothing flashy.
This 'adventuring party', as ya' call it, gathered to take down the mutated wolf who wandered down to the Avis River Delta and formed a pack with buncha other mutated wolves [If ya' don't know 'bout where this mutated wolf comes from, check the parent report]. Ambrienne Hasselhoff - our guild assistant - updated us with some information 'bout the wolves and the Watcher's tribe before departing with some preparations. The lass also told us that the Watcher's Tribe folk send a scout party to investigate the mutated wolf pack and something 'bout establishing good relationships if we found Bog Striders.
We were joined by Grozlan, kobold lass, poor lass, Scout Captain, after explaining our situation to the Watcher's Tribe people, and the day after we departed again towards the west side of the River. We had some trouble crossing the current, but nothing this group needed to fear 'bout! Close from the shore we landed on, we found a pack of wolves lead by a small, mutated wolf hunting down a pair of croc Grauladons. We were able to take care of them without much issue, but we were too late to save one of the croc.
After that, we managed to locate and follow the pack's tracks, retracing their destructive path to a place which I'll explain later - don't forget 'bout it! don't ya dare -. Grozlan was able to find traveling marks from the scout party in that place, though after wandering without success for a few hours, we decided to find shelter for the coming night in a cave near. During Arturo's watch, he conversed with a River Drake named Lord Petrius, and inquired him about the kobold party and the wolves [another pin here, folks]. A few more watches after, and it was morning. Happens that we were followed and ambushed by four mutant wolves (among which was the original mutated wolf we were looking for) and regular wolves. Alexandra Hoppers and I had some trouble being the frontline, but we were able to take care of them!
Anyways, back to the pins, hope ya didn't forget. After interrogating Lond Petrius about what really happened, turns out that the scout party was protecting Lord Petrius from the mutated wolves, fighting against them where we later found burnt trees, acid, and more stuff. The kobold party was defeated, and Lord Petrius fled towards the cave we found him in, then returned to the battlefield after the threat was gone, and ate the corpses [Grozlan didn't react good to this, poor lass].
So yeah, that's it. We spent some more days looking around and didn't find more mutated wolves. Pretty cool.
