Three Saplings Bound Together Like Steel has only recently arrived through the portal (8/16/2025), but she often allows the mortals to call her "Sap" for short.
-BACKSTORY-
In the Old World, there was an isolated area, far away from much of civilization. Few went here, and fewer still would blame them as it was known as a warzone. Here, the dragons and the Fae spent long millenia at war, frequently clashing, leading to a chaotic and blasted landscape of lethal flora and barren stone. The war escalated enough that the magics of the archfey and draconics began threatening the fabric of creation and a Pleroma stepped down to intervene and prevent catastrophe. The three factions reached an accord - the Fae would put something they loved on the world, and the dragons would submit to the Pleroma, allowing it to create emissaries, stewards, and guardians of the lands. Thus, the Conrasu of the Shadhan valley.
In the valley, the Fae lords placed awakened animals and faerie-touched mortals, to enjoy the splendor of the faerie lords although they were forbidden from stepping into the domains of the five dragon lords. The dragons kept to themselves and their own schemes, respecting the treaty while the Conrasu were slowly called forth from the cosmos and brought into the valley. The Conrasu acted as guardians of the valley, mediators between the fae and dragons, and caretakers of the valley, using their various magics and cosmic connections to heal the land and lead to a flourshing of life. Sap was one of these emissaries acting as an advisor to the other Conrasu and a steward of the valley's plant life, her connection to the wood a bountiful and powerful piece of magic. While she did not understand the mortals, exactly, Sap enjoyed this existence and thrived in the deep woodlands of the isolated valley, creating and nurturing the plants of the land.
The call still came, however. Reports from the portal made their way to the fae that something tremendous was happening on the other side, and that they were compelled to send champions. Sap was chosen by her Pleroma to go forth and cross into the new world. She was prepared as well as such powerful entities could - she was taught the extensive intricacies of First Landing, the habits of the mortals on the other side, and extensively trained and practiced for how to appear more human in her armor to make the mortals less nervous. The trappings of a Knight, she was promised, would set others at ease and open many doors and friendships to her. How unfortunate then that Sap proved completely atrocious at such understandings. But go she must.
Sap was sent forth as tribute to step through the portal, charged with continuing to mediate where she could and to forever aid in the balance of the natural world and the elements, ensuring that all things had the opportunity to prosper.
