- Palinor has a strange connection to Will-o'-the-Wisps of Irren. He has one as a bottled pet, and can seemingly observe the world through them. Naturally, he speaks Aklo, in order to communicate with them. Instead of leading people astray, these wisps can lead them to safety instead, when commanded by Palinor (as a reference to the guide Palinurus).
