Irren

The Barony of Irren is a part of Aseron's Fey kingdom. Located in the Millennium Forest, it includes the northern tip of the woods – Willow Creek lies on its southern borders. Naturally, various kinds of Fey live here, though there are also Leshies... and surprisingly organised frogs and toads. Overall, the Barony is split vaguely into two portions – the forests to the south, and the northern marshes, which meet the Sea of Stone.

Formerly ruled by the Baron(ess) from their Manor, the seat was recently moved to Willow Creek instead, following the destruction of that mansion. Once, Lady Agra held this position, but today it belongs to Lord Lutrian.

GM Notes

Millennium Forest

- Named after the German verb irren, from which irrlicht (the German name for will-o'-the-wisps) is derived. These creatures are often encountered in the northern swamps of Irren.

- The 'surprisingly organised frogs and toads' are controlled by HHH, a Sprite courtier who attempted to place the Boastful Prince's Scourge on Lord Lutrian; the curse backfired, affecting the caster instead. He is Tainted by the Verdant Mother, who is directing him to conquer Willow Creek, in order to access the Willow Creek Ruin beneath.

- Does the Fey Vampire Cult still have a presence and influence here, even after Lady Agra was killed?
