Nipri spent her childhood within the warm stone walls of a Sarenrae church in Oppara, the proud capital of Taldor. Left in the care of the Dawnflower’s faithful, she grew under their guidance, learning Sarenrae’s teachings without ever dwelling on the absence of a mother or father. To her, the church was family—every acolyte, every priest, every hymn echoing in the halls a reminder that she belonged.

Years passed, and the once-small orphan blossomed into a devoted priestess of the Everlight. It was then, on a night bathed in quiet moonlight, that a vision came to her. An angelic figure appeared in her dreams, radiant and serene, and spoke:

"You possess the blood of angel-kin in your body. You are destined to do good, and perhaps one day, you may earn the right to reclaim your wings and stand among us..."

The figure stirred something faint and familiar in Nipri’s heart. When she awoke, its words lingered like the last note of a sacred song. With them came a newfound purpose. If she was meant to do good, then she would do so in Sarenrae’s name. And though she had been promised the possibility of wings, she vowed to help others not for reward, but out of true selflessness. Her path would be guided by compassion alone; if that journey led her to wings, then so be it.

Thus her pilgrimage began.

She traveled far from Oppara, carrying the Dawnflower’s light wherever her feet touched soil. Her mission carried her eventually to a strange frontier—the so-called New World. There, beyond the portal, she felt the vastness of need and the weight of opportunity. Yet she stepped forward without hesitation, trusting that Sarenrae’s teachings would guide her as surely as the dawn guides the morning.

And before the horizon of this uncharted land, Nipri pledged once more to spread the Everlight’s hope, kindling it in every shadow she encountered.
