Born to a minor noble of the Narikopolus house in Cheliax, Sollen was a byproduct of her father's own ambitions. He had consorted with an elf in secret- and had Sollen out of wedlock. Due to the importance of archery in the Narikopolus family, inheriting the traits of an elf would do well to make his daughter into a shining star. Unfortunately, his wife was a human. In order to make Sollen seem like a legitimate child- he had her ears altered to appear more akin to a human than her elven heritage. From as early as five, Sollen would be practicing with a bow, as is tradition for those in her family. Her father's desire to upstage his brother made him a harsh tutor. Many days and nights of harsh training and discipline left Sollen with a dispassionate and bored outlook on the world. Her albinism did not help with this either, causing the young girl to be secluded away, her father's 'White Lily', as she was called. As she grew, her aptitude for the bow was readily apparent. Hitting marks came as second nature, as easy as breathing. To her father, his little foray into eugenics was a great success. To Sollen, her life had been one that had led her to grow disillusioned and dismayed at noble life. In her education- she found something she had a genuine interest in. The god Erastil, someone who embodied everything she wanted to experience. The stories of Old Dead Eye made her cast her glance towards the woods, to the outdoors she had never experienced. For all she had were the stuffy halls of her family home, a wall of worthless trophies, and a father who saw her more as a tool for his own prestige than a daughter. She ran away in the dead of night, leaving her father behind, guided by her own instinct. Some part of her elven blood that called her out to the wilds- to the unexplored… And to maybe, find what she had been missing her entire life. Someone to hold close- and maybe one day, a real family, and people to call her own.
