Beastfolk-Territories

Description. The Beastfolk territories are built into a lush, dense forest canopy, where towering trees are woven together with stacked dwellings, rope bridges, and carved wooden halls. Drumbeats echo through the foliage, blending with the rustling leaves and distant calls of wildlife, as hunters, spies, and traders move through misty canopy paths and sun-dappled clearings. The scent of incense, leather, and wild earth hangs in the humid air, drifting through markets where exotic meats and salted hides are traded beneath flickering lanterns. Society is guided by instinct, honour, and ancestral bonds, yet shaped by fragile alliances and old territorial grudges. The kin groups—Feathers, Scales, Fur, and the Half-breeds—each hold contested regions within the forest, maintaining a tense balance of coexistence. Music, storytelling, and ritual hunts weave through daily life, creating a culture that is vibrant, watchful, and always aware of the forest breathing around it.
