The bloodline is quite small and rarely embraces, as a potential member must be a master gunfighter and is usually a Spanish or Mexican American. Only a few embraces have been made in recent decades, but all such whelps have died final death within their first few years. In most ways Los Pistoleros are like the Lasombra, in that they are arrogant, violent, religious (Catholic), and want only the best among their ranks. They have a special enmity for werewolves, which they were created to destroy. They see it as their religious mission to protect all vampires from the werewolf threat and know more about them than most.
