  • Renata Vitale wakes up to a message via Unknown that Unknown would like to see all the players at the Coit Tower at midnight.
  • Renata Vitale also is given a secure phone from the Unknown which she can use to talk to him directly.
  • Unknown once again calls Felix Manticore and Philip Dunsirn to ask them to come to Unknown but she cannot get in contact with Philip Dunsirn again.
  • Both Unknown and Felix Manticore meet at Unknown before the meeting during which they are haunted by the Masked figures again who pass on the cryptic message, that he is back in the Windy City, helping the Madonna scura and a mother has taken the wrong path.
  • After the visit Renata Vitale is convinced the masked figures are talking about the return of Unknown someone she met some 20+ years ago in Chicago. She also informs Felix Manticore that he had knack of going in and out of the Underworld and at one point killed one of her companions ghouls using a sword which faded away much like the mask they found on their doorstep earlier.
  • Renata Vitale also informs Felix Manticore that Unknown was shot some 20 years ago by a James W. Bell in Chicago. She decides to send James W. Bell a message via Annabelle Triabell informing him that Unknown is back.
  • After this both Renata Vitale and Felix Manticore go to the Coit Tower to meet with Unknown but find she is not there and whole area around the tower is unusually quiet.
  • Both are attacked by a big bleeding werewolf like creature which is tripped twice by Felix Manticore in effort to stop it attacking Renata Vitale who shots it before it runs off into the night.
  • After which they discover from the tracks the creature appeared and disappeared from nothing. Renata Vitale suspects that Unknown had some thing to do with the summoning of the creature.
  • Felix Manticore tastes the blood of the creature to find it was not Vampire, Mortal but something different. He will also discover the blood tastes heavily of Sulphur.
