Descendants of Japanese families that rebelled against their imperial oppressors in ancient times. Their name is a derogatory one given to rebels hundreds of years ago by imperial courts, and was used to marginalise them, forcing them into the mountains, caves, and underground hideouts. Eventually they became associated with impurity and yokai folk traditions of monstrous spiders. This Bloodline sees little reason to avoid such associations, using them as symbols of their movements for independence.
