No Nose (or "Haria" as he's called by his few close friends) is
the leader of the Moment's Edge Firemen.Every time one of them
is involved in gambling, extortion, black marketeering or any
other crime, a portion of the profit goes to No Nose.
He's tough; he lost his nose in a fight at age thirteen and has
never looked back. He can pound the hell out of any of his
subordinates, and is probably a match for many unarmed
samurai. His real strength, however, lies in his vision. He plans,
considers and consolidates where other criminals simply act.
Under his guidance, the Moment's Edge Firemen have come to
include "specialists" who are technically kajinin but who don't
have any duty to fight fires. These "specialists" get to wear the
horn, but their only jobs are to be fences, pimps or pushers. The
Strong Arm and Fire Eater gangs single out these "fake firemen"
for special punishment when they catch one alone
