Techniques:
Shosuro Infiltrator School Ability – Poisoned Words: When using Air to deceive or manipulate, Seki may reroll up to two dice.
Kata – Striking as Air: When performing a Performance (Water) check, Seki may target another character in the scene. If the performance impresses or intimidates the target, they receive the Compromised condition if they fail to maintain composure.
Artisan Technique – Soul of Sorrow: Seki can evoke powerful emotions with their words. When composing poetry, Seki may spend 1 Void point to inflict Strife equal to the performance's opportunity dice.
Advantages:
Silver Tongue (Air): Seki is known for their sharp, witty remarks and evocative poetry. They gain a bonus success on Air checks involving conversation or deception.
Insightful Poet (Fire): They have a knack for expressing hidden truths in verse, adding a bonus success on Fire checks when using Composition to craft meaningful or emotionally charged poems.
Disadvantages:
Addiction (Opium): Like many in Ryoko Owari, Seki struggles with opium addiction. Once per scene, if faced with a high-strain situation, they must succeed in a Meditation (Void) check to avoid seeking solace in their addiction.
Haunted by Regret (Void): A dark incident in Seki’s past drives much of their poetic inspiration. However, it also gnaws at their spirit, causing moments of doubt or distraction when working on complex poetry or art (gain Strife in related scenes).
Techniques (Optional):
- Subtle Observer (Air): Seki is adept at noticing the smallest details. When performing Skulduggery or Courtesy checks, they may re-roll one die.
