The F1 is a defensive fragmentation grenade. It is a modernised copy of the French F1 from the Great War, with a standard Soviet timed fuze. Its heavy weight and effective fragmentation make an assault with F1s difficult; on the other hand, to defend a static position is made much easier by the limonka's artillery-like blast. It is the second most common type of grenade in Oceanyka, next to the German M24.
