The Browning M2, or "Ma Deuce" as known by the troops, is the most proliferous heavy machinegun of the Cold War, with a service time of nearly half a century across the entire globe. Although originally designed as an anti-air and anti-tank weapon, it was soon found to be most effective at turning infantry to mush.
The FSW is a 12.7x99mm heavy machinegun meant to be used by machinegun teams. It is based on a prototype Browning M2 from the 1930s, fit with a bipod and shoulder padding. However, there are some important differences; military-grade aluminium alloy and polymers have been liberally used to reduce the weapon's weight without compromising its structural integrity, though it is more prone to overheating. This weapon boasts unparalleled firepower against the strongest of cryptids, and even eldritch horrors shriek when 18,000 Joules are being pressed into their corporeal form 500 times per minute. FSWs are usually issued to the strongest of FSRD agents, who are accompanied by an ammunition carrier.
