Trolls inhabit the sewers, abandoned buildings and ruins of Oceanyka's urban areas, both populated and depopulated. They are larger and stronger than a common man, and live on a strictly carnivorous diet. While not particularly threatening to a well-armed explorer by their physical brawn alone, the human mind cannot bear the presence of trolls for long; it will eventually corrupt itself in a downwards spiral of insanity, in the most extreme cases leading to ultraviolent antisocial behaviour or suicide.
