The American-180 is a .22 long rifle submachinegun designed for the civilian market and law enforcement. It has a whooping fire rate of 1,200 RPM, which it sustains with 180-round pan magazines, or the much harder to find 300-round magazines. It is an expensive weapon, though one which can decimate anything in the general direction it points at. Even armoured opponents are not safe, as the sheer volume of fire it can put out will inevitably shred unarmoured limbs, degrade fiber-based armour, and destroy their own weapons. It was exported to numerous countries, most notably Rhodesia and Oceanyka.
