The most popular type of pasta in Oceanyka is in the form of gunner's pasta, which is a shorter variety of rigatoni prepared with tomatoes, bits of beef, a variety of herbs and cheese. It is called as such because it was brought to Oceanyka by Italian immigrants, who by luck or chance participated within the Oceanykan Intervention in the Great War as artillerymen.
