Soldier's Wife
-Veterancy-
This service rifle has accompanied men into the darkest depths of hell, and benefits greatly from perks related to veterancy.
The M1903 Springfield is an American bolt-action rifle which served as their standard service rifle during World War I, then as a sniper rifle during and after World War II. It is chambered in .30-06 and feeds from a 5-round fixed magazine. The M1903 has been prized by American infantrymen and marksmen alike for decades. Though it is currently obsolete as an infantry weapon, American snipers in the Vietnam War know that their M1903s will put a hole where they want it to. Oceanykan marksmen seem to think similarly, as "dirty work" is usually left to more expendable designs such as the Lee-Enfield or Mosin-Nagant series of rifles.
