The Kaiserliche Eisenpakt ("Imperial Iron Pact") was a military, economic and political alliance led and maintained by The German Empire, joined by its allies and vassals across Europe 🌍. It was created following Germany's victory in World War I, one in which they resulted the undisputed masters of Europe. However, during The Red Orchestra, the Eisenpakt lost influence across the continent due to skilful Soviet political manoeuvring, which managed to topple a number of governments within the alliance, turning them eastwards. Most severe were the losses of The Republic of France and The Danubian Federation, which upon joining the Eurasian Axis, effectively surrounded Germany from every direction.
At the beginning of World War II, the following nations were members of the Eisenpakt:
- The German Empire
- The Kingdom of Belgium
- The Kingdom of the Netherlands
- The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
- The Kingdom of Poland
- The Kingdom of Yurislanzia
- The Kingdom of Sweden
- The Kingdom of Norway
- The Kingdom of Denmark
During the war it became clear that the alliance was severely outnumbered by the Eurasian Axis. The following nations directly joined Germany during the conflict:
The Eisenpakt was disbanded following World War II, as its functions were wholly supplanted by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
