The SIG KE7 is a Swiss light machinegun chambered in 7x57mm Mauser. It is recoil-operated and feeds from 25-round magazine, making it more of a "squad automatic rifle" in the same vein as the M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle or the Bren Gun. The KE7 began production in 1929 and, though sidelined by the Swiss Army itself, found limited success as a commercial product with the world's developing nations, particularly The Republic of China and Latin America. Its slow rate of fire (550 RPM) and highly precise machining lends itself to sustained, precise bursts against enemy troops.
